Montpelier, Vt. — This morning, Lt. Governor Molly Gray released the following statement recognizing the anniversary of September 11th, 2001:
“As we come together to mark the anniversary of the deadly attacks on September 11, 2001, I ask Vermonters to join me in remembering the lives lost and in honoring the service and sacrifice of so many members of our community and our country.
As we honor the lives of the victims, we are also reminded of the bravery shown by first responders, firefighters, police officers, members of the National Guard, and ordinary citizens who courageously risked their own lives to help their fellow Americans.
Today, and as we move forward, my sincere hope is that we remember and recognize that we are strongest when we are united as Vermonters, as Americans, and as a global community in facing our greatest challenges.”
