Statement of Lt. Governor Molly Gray on Attorney General TJ Donovan’s Decision to Not Seek Re-election in 2022

Montpelier, Vt. This afternoon, Lt. Governor Molly Gray released the following statement in response to Attorney General TJ Donovan’s announcement that he will not seek re-election in 2022:

“Today, I want to recognize the nearly two decades of public service of my former boss and now colleague Attorney General TJ Donovan.

I had the pleasure of working as an Assistant Attorney General under Attorney General Donovan, who has given countless young lawyers the opportunity to serve in the Attorney General’s Office. Vermont has been well served by Attorney General Donovan.

I wish him the very best and look forward to continuing to work together through the end of this year.”
