April 4, 2018 Town Hall: Ideas to Reduce Vermont’s Prison Population

With guests Nico Amador from the Vermont Chapter of the ACLU and Ashley Sawyer from Vermonters for Criminal Justice Reform.

Lt. Governor Zuckerman and his guests discuss a recent proposal for a new prison and mental health facility, as well as ways to reduce the prison population. Topics include employment and life skills training, bail reform, transitional housing, and reducing recidivism.
