BOSTON, MA--The New England-Canada Business Council (NECBC) will honor Lt. Governor Brian E. Dubie, State of Vermont, at its Annual Leadership Award Breakfast, Friday, September 17, 2004. The Honorable Paul Cellucci, U.S. Ambassador to Canada, will introduce Dubie at the award breakfast. Dubie will be the keynote speaker.

"NECBC presents this award annually to an individual who has displayed exceptional leadership in promoting economic, political and cultural relations between Canada and New England," says Paul Raymond, NECBC President.

“Lt. Governor Dubie was selected to receive the award in recognition of his efforts with regard to international relationships, specifically relationships between Vermont and the Province of Québec, in the areas including commerce and tourism, environmental issues, energy, education, transportation and border security.”
