Lt. Gov. Scott was invited by F.W. Webb officials to be the Honorary Starter and wave the green flag to start the race.

F.W. Webb (a plumbing, heating and industrial supply company serving New England and New York, and title sponsor of the F.W. Webb 200) asked their customers earlier this spring to nominate individuals who exhibited the “Spirit of Vermont.” Lt. Governor Scott was chosen because of his contributions to recovery efforts after Tropical Storm Irene, and was ultimately selected for the role.

Lt. Gov. Scott will "drop the green" at approximately 3:30 pm.
